Through various means, slices of lime and lemon are dried, yielding different shades of yellow, orange, even brown/red, with various greens and yellows on the rims of the translucent disks. The headpiece lime is not dried as much, and adds a fresh accent with a colour that is pretty demanding on the print process. During test printing, I found considerable variations between print targets / papers (especially for this green hue), and found the paper used (Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bartya) to be best suited in encompassing the gamut and freshness of the capture.

Printed with pigment ink (Epson) by the photographer on 100% cotton paper (Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta), this is one of twelve pictures in the series "Of the eyes he made window panes". The combination of pigment and cotton should in itself be one of the most durable media, but the surface has not been treated further and should be kept behind UV protection for optimal longevity. The image is presented with a white border, and signed on the front, below the print.

The print is edited in photoshop, but not a composite or a "look like a painting"-filtered image.
